  • Finally, if the need arises to make a hole more than half a meter deep, the most powerful tool in the field comes to the rescue. We are talking about the power drill, a tool with a capacity of 5-8 kW. Completely all walls can be drilled with it.

Important: Because of its high power, the power drill cannot be connected to a standard mains supply (1- or 2-phase). That is why it is practically not used in household conditions.

  • If you get a thicker rebar (from 1 cm), then the most rational option is to move the sockets. Still, this is not always possible, and in such situations you will have to get rid of these metal elements. This is done as follows

    • Use a metal drill to make a through hole in it.
    • As a result, it will loosen considerably, which will allow you to drill it out with a chisel and peorator (as in the previous example).

Preparing the gypsum mortar
