The rules of mixing

I do not recommend to use improvised plastic bottles and canisters, because gasoline can dissolve plastics and all this “slurry” gets into the fuel tank and causes failure of the carburetor.
Plastic canisters designed for petrol are always marked with the “flame” sign. It is very convenient to use a canister with a spill-free system (see Fig. 3). figure 3). The no-fill system has a valve that prevents fuel from spilling when the tank is full.

Why the wrong proportions can put the equipment out of order?

The 2-stroke engine has no separate oil sump and all of the working parts inside the engine are lubricated by oil. which is contained in the fuel mixture.
The oil should lubricate all rubbing surfaces inside the engine and burn without formation of deposits. This is the fundamental difference between oils for 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
In addition to the above functions, the oil should:
- Seal the gaps, first of all, between the parts of the cylinder-piston group, prevent and minimize the outflow of gases from the combustion chamber.
- Divert heat generated by fuel combustion and friction.

Mix the ingredients in a gasoline-resistant container, not in the tank itself! Pour petrol into a clean and dry canister then add oil there.
