- On the built-in dipstick there are special marks, as a rule, they are represented by the markings “MIN” and “MAX”. After removing the dipstick it is necessary to see where the oil spot is located. It must be in the middle between these marks. If the fluid level is below the “MIN” mark, you will need to refill the lubricant;
- If there are no factory marks on the dipstick being used, the operator will have to orient himself by the length of the fixture. After measuring the volume of the fluid, its volume should reach the middle of the dipstick;
- In some cases the operator may not have a dipstick. In this case you can check the amount of grease visually. For this you need to look through the filler neck. if the fluid level comes almost to the neck, it means that the owner does not need to refill the engine oil for the tractor.
After checking the level of the available lubricant yourself, close the cap of the standard filler neck as tightly as possible and make sure that the liquid does not leak out.
Classification of oils

Checking and changing the oil in the motoblock gearbox. how to change it?
The gearbox is an important element of a motor block whose function is to transmit torque from the motor to the wheels of the machine by means of a V-belt transmission. Gearbox parts are subject to heavy wear, and therefore require regular lubrication. Do not forget that not all lubricants available on the market are suitable for this application.

Next, look at the wire. If it has a wet side of 30 cm, then you don’t need to fill up the gearbox with oil. If the lubricant level is lower, then you will need to refill as much oil as is required to reach the 30 cm mark on the wire. Fill the lubricant into the gearbox in the following order:
- Place the single axle tractor on the stands;
- Underneath the tiller, on the bottom of the gearbox, look for the drain plug. Put a wide container under it and start unscrewing the lid slowly;
- Wait 10 minutes, during which time all the oil will run out;
- Screw the drain cap all the way in, unscrew the filler cap and put a funnel in it;
- Pour about 2 liters of transmission oil into the gearbox;
- Check the oil level with a wire. if there is less than 30 cm of wire in the oil, pour some more material in.
In most cases you should change the lubricant in the gearbox of your power tiller at least once in 100 hours of machine operation. The interval for changing oil may vary depending on the recommendations of the servicing machine manufacturer. If you use your power tool for more than 4 hours a day, you only need to change the oil once in 50 hours.
Do I need to add oil to gasoline for my power tiller??
Fuel for a power tiller can be clean, or you may have to prepare a fuel mixture. It depends on the type of engine. For two-stroke engines, gasoline for a power tiller must be diluted with oil. At that one should accurately observe the proportions recommended by manufacturers (often it looks like 1 part of oil to 4 parts of gasoline). How to change the seals on your power tiller?
